We still have all of the online resources and databases that many of you used before, but we hope that they are easier to find.

You can find many of the online databases, like Reference USA, Novelist, and Bookletters, by clicking the Research/homework link on left side of the page.

You can then search the databases by name (alphabetical order) or by subject

Using the new Jackson District Library WebPages We hope you like our new WebPages. We have tried to make it more visually appealing, and functional. There are several things you can do on the new website.

You can search the catalog right from the home page:

Microsoft Word Hints - Symbols Not on the Keyboard

If you ever want to create a character in a word document there are a couple of ways you can do that.  In some MS Word programs if you type dash –, colon, left parenses)  it will automatically “correct”  to make a  simple smiley face
