Keyboarding Skills

Learn and/or refresh typing skills and learn various functions of the keys (F keys, Esc, Ctrl, Alt etc.) Participants should take How Do I Turn This Darned Thing On or equivalent experience

Classes are free and are offered at various times for your convenience. Each class is only one session. Information obtained is cumulative (what you learn in one session will be used in the next sessions)

for adults with limited experience using computers, this class will cover basic components of computers. Use and operation of the mouse, (right click, left click, double click) introduction to saving and retrieving documents.

How to Apply for Federal Employment

 Carl Wells, Human Resources Specialist of the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, will walk you through the process of applying for government jobs.  This is free and open to all - veterans are especially encouraged to attend.  Mr. Wells provides tips and handouts, and will answer any questions.

This program will be in the McIntyre Room, 2nd floor of Carnegie
