
Jackson and the Civil War: 1862-1863
Bill Lowe, Jackson's Civil War historian, will give a presentation with maps and illustrations on the military engagements of Jackson's militia units during the Civil War. Also included will be the impact of the war on the city of Jackson. Join us in the Carnegie Auditorium on Saturday, June 22nd, from 2-4 pm.

Join us on Wednesday evening, May 22nd, from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Carnegie Auditorium for a presentation by Mark Hoffman, editor of Among the Enemy: A Michigan Soldier's Civil War Journal. Hoffman, Chief Administrative Officer in the Michigan DNR, is a lifelong student of the Civil War. He previously wrote the award-winning My Brave Mechanic: The First Michigan Engineers and Their Civil War.

Monday evening, May 13th, the Jane Austen Book Club will be watching Wuthering Heights, starring Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley, in the McIntyre Room at 6 pm. Refreshments will be served.
