Jane Austen Book Club for November

The Jane Austen* Book Club is back next Monday, Nov. 10th at 6:00pm in the McIntyre Room/ Carnegie building.  We will be continuing our look at "Lady Susan", Austen's epistolary novel, published after her death.  If you haven't read the book, don't worry.  We will have copies of the pages for you to read at the meeting.  Tea and cookies will be served.  We had a stimulating read last month and will begin again with part two.

The Worst or Weirdest Things I ever ate

The worst things I ever ate.
I haven’t been able to find a book on the subject so I may write one.

Some of my co-workers were discussing child hood memories one day and we started listing some of the weird strange gross things our parents made us eat.

Obama & Biden @ your library

No, sorry, Barack Obama isn't visiting the local library.  But we do have information on him and running mate Joe Biden.
