We are back on our winter hours, so we will meet from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the McIntyre Room, Carnegie Bldg., 244 W. Michigan Ave. on October 12th.

As a followup to last month's discussion on "Persuasion", we will be watching the movie of the same name for the August meeting of the Jane Austen Book Club. We will meet at 5:00 pm in the McIntyre Room, in the Carnegie building on August 10th. Which version shall we watch? Both the 1995 version, starring Ciaran Hinds and Amanda Root, and the 2007 versions, starring Sally Hawkins and Rubert Penry-Jones were commissioned for Masterpiece Theatre with the 1995 version debuting in theaters, a first for Masterpiece.
