Rework by Jason Fried & David Heinmeier Hansson

As I have been reading this book I am realizing that this title would be useful to many people. The concepts can transfer to day to day life not just to businesses.

I recently discovered the A&E show “Longmire” and it inspired me to go to the original books.  The first in the series is “The Cold Dish” and it finds our hero, Walt Longmire (25 years as Sheriff of Absaroka County Wyoming) clinically depressed and grieving from the death of his wife.  He’s not shaving, going to the office or working on his half-finished house.  No one can seem to get him out of his misery, not his enigmatic Indian friend Hen

I'm calling this a book comment because I have reviewed S.J. Bolton before, for the book about snakes called Awakening.  So this is just a quick note to say I really liked this new book, Dead Scared.

The Ultimate Survival Manual  by Rich Johnson

The book will come in very handy to anyone. Included are survival skills in the wilderness, disasters, and urban. The inclusion of urban interested me. I had not realized this would in a survival manual though I know survival skills for urban living.

Published May 2012. In just the first Chapter I have a hard time putting this book down. I picked this up because Rather has been in the news so long and I thought it would be an intersting read. I am finding myself shocked at the information released within. Just his dedication to his wife caught my interest in the CBS news journalist.
