This is the last meeting for 2012, we will meet again in January 2013.
This month we are reading It Worked for Me: In Life and Leadership by Colin Powell.
This month we are reading The Dragonfly Effect by Jennifer Aaker, Andy Smith with Carlye Adler.
Named for the only insect able to move in any direction when its four wings are working in concert, The Dragonfly Effect reveals how everyday people achieve unprecedented results through harnessing the incredible power of social media.
Daughter of the Forest was an outstanding read--
one that kept me turning the next page in anticipation. Although it is a retelling of The Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen, this book was as fresh and unexpected as a totally new story. The atmosphere is enchanting and the book is lyrical, taking flight in so many ways.
This month we are reading Hardwiring Excellence by Quint Studer.
The Nonprofit Network and Jackson District Library have teamed up to help create a place to share in discussion of leadership, business and management books. It is a great way for our leaders in the community to meet and share ideas and thoughts from different perspectives.
The Leadership Book Group usually meets the last Thursday of the month from 12-1PM.
