The end of an epoch has come and shown us all that the technological sea change which is the computer has reached the high tide mark on the shore. Encyclopedia Britannica will no longer offer a print edition.
That is amazing. I can remember when I was young half the college students in this country sold The EB in the summertime to make money for school. They would have earnestly sat down with your parents and tell them that the knowledge in The EB was essential for their children to complete their education. It is indeed the end of an era.
