Carnegie: Fitness Council Presents: How to Change a Bike Tire, with the Armory Bike Union
Saturday, January 21, from 1-2:30 p.m.
Have you ever been stuck with a flat bike tire without the knowledge or tools to change it? Not quite sure how to mount the new tires you received for Christmas? Interested in developing your bike repair skills?
The Armory Bike Union presents "How to Change a Tire," a 90-minute introduction to repairing and replacing faulty bike tires. During this practical, hands-on class, you will learn about the tools, parts and technique needed to change a bike tire. Changing A Tire is a great introduction to the mechanical concepts behind how your bike works, and an important skill for all bicyclists.
The Armory Bike Union is a community bike shop that offers a variety of programs, classes and events that aim to develop educated cyclists and build bike culture in Jackson. The Armory Bike Union is just one of the many ways the Fitness Council of Jackson continues to lead our community in life-long physical activity.
