Book / Movie Review: P.S. I Love You

I watched the movie P.S.  I  Love You,  this weekend.  I read the book, I think, 4 years ago.  I picked up the paperback just before going on vacation, becasue I wanted something light, both in content and size, to read while I was gone.  I was suprised at how much I really enjoyed the book.

It is the story of a young woman who is widowed just before her thirtieth birthday.   For the next year she recieves a letter each month from her deceased husband, with instructions to "learn to fish, take a chance, "really startliving."  (No not from heaven, he arranged it all while he was ill.)

I really enjoyed the book, and although there were definetly sad parts, that made me sob, it WAS funny.

The movie, as usual was not as good as the book, but it was good, and the main premise of the story was still there.  It also had parts that made me sob, and parts that made me laugh out lound.

A goo book to read on vacation and a good movie to watch on a rainy weekend
