Searching the Catalog

Using the new Jackson District Library WebPages We hope you like our new WebPages. We have tried to make it more visually appealing, and functional. There are several things you can do on the new website.

You can search the catalog right from the home page:

  1. Click in the Search Catalog box.
  2. Type what you are looking for (like in Google)
  3. The catalog window will come up.

If there are too many titles listed you can limit them by:

  1. Changing the search criteria,
  2. Sorting the search, Or
  3. Clicking on Basic Search

Which will let you select Author title or subject criteria

If you can't find what you are looking for in the Jackson District Library
Catalog click on the catalog menu at the top fo the page and look in Mel (Michigan Electronic Library ) or World Cat. Then place a request for the items from there.
