Human Rights in Jackson:  JXN Community Forum

Mark Bishop  and Deputy Director Leslee Fritz from the Michigan Department of Civil Rights will be at the JXN Community Forum on Thursday, January 16, 6:30 pm at the Jackson District Library, 244 West Michigan Ave., in Jackson.  The forum will be an opportunity for him to listen, and to hear the concerns of Jackson residents, businesses, employers, law enforcement and public services.  The Michigan Department of Civil Rights is also concerned with issues in employment, housing, hate crimes and bullying (workplace and schools).  This is a chance for the state agency to hear about local issues and look for ways to help.

This forum is co-sponsored by the Jackson Area Civil Rights Awareness Association, the Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty and the Jackson District Library

Please call Debby Sears at the library, 517-788-4087, if you have any questions.
