Introductory Level classes,( Introduction to computers, Keyboard Skills. , Introduction to the internet, Introduction to MS Word, File management) will be taught on a rotating basis about 3 OR 4 times a year.  Please check our newsletter for future classes. or check back here frequently.

Introduction to the Internet

Learn how to do a general search of the Internet and how to evaluate information you find on websites

Students should have takenHowI turn this Darned Thing On, keyboard class (above) or similar knowledge of the computer, mouse and other equivalent experience

at the Carnegie Library 244 W. Michigan, Jackson, MI

All of these classes are FREE, SPACE IS VERY LIMITED - registration is required to reserve your spot.

Each class is only one session.  The information obtained is cumulative, what is learned in one session will be applied in later classes.

There is no limit on the number of classes, you can take; sign up for one or the whole series.  You can repeat classes that you have taken in previous series, but please sign up for only one session of each class in this series.

Note:

We may choose to cancel a class if the minimum amount of students is not registered within 2 days (48 hours) of the class, but promise to do our best to reschedule.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is appreciated, for anyone who needs to cancel/reschedule a class.

If you arrive late to a class, instructors who are already actively teaching, are unable to catch students up who are that late, and still give the necessary assistance to those who made it on time.
