Thanks for your comments, J. Balch. I wondered about this one, too! This photo must date before "the mall" doesn't it? The fender trim on the blue Thunderbird would make it a 1962 model year (Standard Catalog of Ford, 4th Ed./John Gunnell). I'm guessing the year to be 1962 or '63.

I believe this S Jackson St looking north at Wesley. Currently this is the court house and Mich Bell.

Not Jackson Street but Michigan Avenue looking west from across the street of the old Capitol Theater. Note the City Bank & Trust Building on the south side and the Reynolds, Building, Consumer's Power and Hotel Hayes (front to rear) on the north side. At least the late 60s with the Thuderbird in front of the Downtown NBJ office.
