My brother and I were there together for almost eight years in the years 1956 to 1964. My name is Tim Toney and Bill is my brother. We were there with some other brothers; the Brooks, Fred, Joe, and Harry also the Eva brothers with Ron and Roger one ball. I remember a boy named Yost, Fields, Sister Rita (she choked me), Sister Arcadia (she beat me good in the dining room in front of all the other boys), Sister Jean (Mean, she might have been the one that beat me).

St. Joseph Home for Boys Exterior originally William Thompson Home circa 1875
Place of residence June 1965 - June 1967. Large old house, cold in the winter, hot in the summer. Had a beautiful wide oak staircase in the main entrance hall leading to the second floor. Large rooms with very high ceiling. I remember the window ledges on the third floor (sleeping areas) being very deep. Brings many memories, some good, some not.
