This building is the Hibbard House located on the southwest corner of Main (Michigan Ave.) and Francis St. The building was gutted, remodeled and made into the Otsego Hotel. The Hibbard's also built the Hibbard Opera House on the southeast corner of Cortland and Francis St. The opera house burned and was remodeled into the Bijou Theater, later to be remodeled again and renamed the Regent Theatre showing motion pictures.

Possible Identification

This is probably the Otsego Hotel before a new and now existing facade was installed. I have noticed that the store to the far right is called the Oppenheim Cigar Company, of which is the subject of a close up photo earlier in this photo series.
