This building still stands on Cortland St. and is now USCOMM. You can see City Hall rising in the back ground.
Vermulens Furniture is just across the St.
The top of this building as shown with the raised corners has been slightly altered and no longer has these embelishments and is now horizontal but still looks good. If your standing in front of this building you can see some interesting carved heads jutting out around the windows. Restoration is dearly needed in that some of the red sand stone carved blocks and window headers etc. need to be replaced as they have been literally eroding away. There is a really cool bar in the basement that was probably used when the Knights of Columus ocupied the building.
