Check out the new Jane Austen Book Club!  It's Everything Austen!  We'll be discussing her books, movies and websites.  Join us at the first meeting Nov. 7th at 6:00 pm.  If you can't make it, email Jane at debanojm@jackson.lib.mi.us and let me know what day and time works for you.  Pre-teens to grands are welcome.  The only requirement is that you love Jane's work.  It will be great fun!

 

My favorite tip for finding anything on our Web Site is the heading Search The Site.  Using it will help you find any event, person, or database on our site, without having to searchthe calendar day by day.  Just type in the event you are looking for, such as "book sale", or "critter guy" or "Fall Storytime" or "movies" or "audiobooks"  It's quick and easy!  Try it - you'll like it!

Masterpiece Theatre viewers recently voted for their top 12 favorites shows.  JDL is pleased to announce that we've ordered all of them.  One title, -"Poldark"- is not available in USA DVD format.  You can order "Poldark" in VHS format through the Michigan Electronic Library Catalog (MELcat.)
